OOT New Yorkers: Ever been in the Cash Cab?

Because I'm unemployed I've been watching this show on a regular basis. I know there is a good amount of NYers on 00T, anybody forgo public transportation and get lucky enough to hitch a ride on the Cash Cab?

I have a friend that asks me almost every time I see him if I've been in it/seen it. I have done neither.

i believe there is just teh one, and it looks undistinguishable from other taxis.

the show is great though, i love new yorkers. not sure i'd want them as neighbors.

everytime i've ever seen the show it's always been the same guy, but i've only seen it like 2-3 times.

I saw that show for the first time over the weekend. I took about 5 cabs this weekend, but no luck.

At the end of the Cash Cab credits, I could have sworn that they said that the contestants were "pre selected," which would make me wonder HOW they pick them....

i believe this means they ask people if they want to play, and tell them to get teh fork out if they don't. i could be wrong.
