Mike Teahen, Fact or Fiction?
The Royals pulled him up from Triple-A on June 3rd. Since then he has played basically every game, stats:
BA .288 over 260 plate appearances 75 hits 13 doubles 6 triples 13 home runs 50 rbis 31 walks 5 stolen bases obs .899 He kinda sucked a lot more last year though. Fact or Fiction? |

Re: Mike Teahen, Fact or Fiction?
Isn't it Mark Teahen? I know he was one of the Moneyball guys, so maybe he is good. Don't know much about him.

Mike Teahen, Fact or Fiction? [/ QUOTE ] Fiction! The correct answer is MARK Teahen. (FWIW, I read about him in Moneyball so I assume he has some potential.) |

Re: Mike Teahen, Fact or Fiction?
I'm going with Fiction. I don't think he has the skills to keep it up.

Re: Mike Teahen, Fact or Fiction?
ron shandler compared him to joe randa. that seems a very accurate comparison, and no one should be disappointed if he has randa's career.

Re: Mike Teahen, Fact or Fiction?
I don't think his power number will ever be much long term, but I think his OBP can stay good. The real question is what happens to him when Alex Gordon comes around.
