Female roommate wants to crash a wedding with me....tips?

So,

My roommate (female) decided that she wants to go crash some weddings to take advantage of the free top shelf liquor, and possibly look for some single stragglers.

Has anyone done this?

Tips?

Proposition bets?

Most likely this WILL happen within the next 2 weeks. The plan is to show up just after dinner when people are already liquored up and much less likely to notice us.

My brother and I did this twice (years before the movie wedding crashers came out) Both times we were at large halls with more than one reception area and more than one wedding reception going on. we were invited to/attending one of the weddings and got borred and so decided to explore/check out the other weddings.

it's pretty easy to do, go part way through dinner. outside a lot fo the halls they will have a list of table assignments with little name cards that you brign with you to your table. find a table with two unclaimed namecards and enjoy.
