PP NL 100, NON-MONSTER, 6M, 6-handed
Hero has $170; Villain covers. Reads: Villain is 24/10/2 in all of 50 hands. I have not played one pot with him over $10; he has built a decent stack but hasn't had to show down a hand. Seems to be using position in those cases. But keep in mind that 50 hands is nothing. Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. One limper, Hero raises to $5, SB (Villain) calls, BB folds, limper calls. Flop: ($16) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain checks, Limper checks, Hero bets $15, Villain calls, Limper folds. Turn: ($46) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villain checks, Hero bets $39, Villain raises to $78. Oops, blah blah blah pot control, blah blah blah snap off bluff, oops. And now?

[/ QUOTE ] I know, but I can't tell you how many times I have my hand posts side-tracked by nittish advice like "check behind turn and this wouldn't happen to you." That's why I was expecting it.

This sucks.
The turn bet is good, I think, since the 2 usually either is immaterial or helps you, and there's like 200 draws for suited connectors (a big part of villain's cold call range). It's hard to believe that villain has a naked 2, if you call here, you are commited, so you might as well push if you decide to keep going. However, villain is playing this very much like a set, and given his stats, you'd assume he's not cold calling much in the SB besides pocket pairs and a few suited connectors.... and maybe A2s... IDK. I think I fold here, but I'm interested in what others say. I think sometimes, when I feel like it, I push, but this would be rarely in this situation. Edit: Damn, I feel weak-tight after reading the other responses.
