Any Michel Gondry fans? New movie out soon.

Director of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (and a few trippy as hell Bjork videos) has a new film coming out: The Science of Sleep.

Looks very trippy, but very good.

Haven't been able to find out when it'll be released in Seattle or given a wider release yet. Hoping it comes out before too long.

Looks good, but i doubt it will touch ESOTSM, which is easily my fav movie of the past 5-6 years at least.

Been looking forward to both of these for a while now. Funny how a lot of former alternative music video directors have become some of the best directors period. Jonze, Gondry, etc. Even Johnathan Dayton and Valerie Faris nailed Little Miss Sunshine.

Seriously, if you liked Eternal Sunshine and aren't familiar with Gondry's music vids, go watch as many as you can. It might make it easier to appreciate a lot of his shots and techniques in Eternal Sunshine, or at least enhance the experience (or maybe not, but can't hurt). Absolutely brilliant guy. The premise for Be Kind Rewind sounds amazing. Let's hope we get the "Eternal Sunshine" Gondry and not the "Human Nature" Gondry.

Gondry is an awesome director and he nailed Eternal Sunshine, but don't forget that one of the best writers in Hollywood wrote Eternal Sunshine, and the acting was top notch. It's a great film, but not just because of Gondry.
