Default Cheating at PP

I was just playing some Monster... Uhhh Party Poker, and there was a player who deliberately sat out every time it was his turn to post the small blind. His screen name is rwmilesjr, and here are a few of the hand history numbers you can verify:4835256664 followed by 4835263319 followed by 4835267674.

How do you handle someone like this?

Doesn't he have to post when he sits back in?

Not thanks to the retarded monkeys who wrote Party's code. Nice simple problem they could fix, but god knows that would mean actually paying someone intelligent to write the game.

I should've emailed rzitup, if alerts@party doesn't give me a good enough answer, he'll be next, followed very soon by my bankroll going to pokerstars or full tilt, who I assume don't allow cheating at their games.

Is it cheating if the way their software functions allows him to do it?

OF COURSE IT IS!

Just because the monkeys that programmed party let it happen, he's still taking advantage of it and not paying the requisite blind structure according to the rules of poker.

Pretty cut and dry. Not surprisingly, his excuse is that its Party's software too. Lame as the day is long.

This has been thoroughly discussed.

The -EV of missing the button is larger than the +EV of not playing the small blind. Anyone exploiting this bug is hurting himself, especially at 6 max tables.

who cares, if all he is doing is posting a blind big bet every round. he will always be out of position postflop. don't worry about this guy. he is not making good decisions. you can easily out play him.
edit: ben said it good in a different way. dont sweat it.
