Default Chance to spread awareness (Libertarian Wiki)

B&M and Beginners regulars know how much I love wikis. I'd like to prepare a wiki page to help my fellow Libertarians understand why criminalization of online gaming is so pernicious to anyone who values personal liberty.

I started a stub here:

http://libertarianwiki.org/Online_gaming

I'll add to it as I have time with hard data on, for example, the Washington State felony statute, the odious Sen. Jon Kyl, etc. But if anyone else wants to collaborate, knock yourself out.

I kind of think the term "online gaming" is at best confusing and at worst disingenuous. Even as a regular poker player and part time casino bonus chaser (of low hanging fruit) I think of myself as an online gambler. Seriously, online gaming is for people playing World of Warcraft. I risk money on events outside of my control -- that is gambling. Let's call it what it is.

That said, I respect what you have done with the poker wiki, and apprecite the sentiment of what you are trying to do here. Though I'm sorry to hear you are a libertarian AKQJ10 -- you might want to see a doctor about that.

Yeah, I thought about renaming it. Feel free to go do so -- that's the wiki way.

Yeah, maybe I can be beaten back to allegiance to the nanny state. It's so much better when I can just trust the smart people to make decisions for me.
