Curt Schilling gets some sick calls

Watching Schilling's last two starts, he seems to get a lot of strikes that the opposing pitcher doesn't get. The kid starting for the A's was getting squeezed a bit tonight but Schilling is getting a lot of the same pitches.

Somebody made a comment to this effect last time he pitched so I've been paying close attention to it. Meanwhile Randy, another dinosaur with a long history of being awesome, doesn't seem to get the same help this year. Probably because he's a jerk and shows up umpires a lot.

Schilling's a jerk too, but off the field for the most part.

I don't really like how they seemed to lose their composure because they were getting squeezed. If it is so bad, Macha should undress at home plate and poop (but I think this guy is working tomorrow).

Meh, this was one of the worst called games I've seen all year, if I'm the A's I would be pretty pissed. I'm surprised the one kid didn't stay out there longer and let the ump have it. The very next inning they gave Delcarmen the same pitch. As soon as they had that big inning the strike zone got huge again.
