$20 (Party 40k): Mr. Bluffer makes a move
This is 4th or 5th hand played. Hand before last villian bluff raised and got called till showdown with < top pair. So he's definitely capable of bluffing but one datapoint may not be reliable.
I was completely confused as to what he could have here.TT was a possibility, 44 or A4 may be less so. But then he may be semi-bluffing or just being a donkey. What do people think? Also, do people find folding here easy? Re: $20 (Party 40k): Mr. Bluffer makes a move
In these donkfests you're better off minimizing investment until you have a strong hand and then value betting the hell out of the donks. So in this hand, I smooth call preflop (he ain't folding to your raise) and check behind the flop (he ain't folding to your cbet).

Re: $20 (Party 40k): Mr. Bluffer makes a move
Call preflop or at least make it a bit more. I would personally just call preflop w/ position. If you are giong to raise, at least make it more, probably around 500 or so.
After reraising preflop, I would just check behind here. As played, I think you have to fold to his raise. With 6 outs or less, your not getting the odds to draw when behind. Also, if you just called preflop, the hand plays out much easier as you can fold to a flop bet or just check behind if he still checks to you. |
