Default Weak TP in Big Blind

Second orbit at the table both UTG and SB had shown down hands like 68o from MP etc. no other reads.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 3 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (3 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, SB calls.

Turn: (3 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets, Hero ?.

For me it was a small pot and Im not liking many rivers easy fold?

I'd call pretty quickly. You're good probably half the time or better. Hopefully UTG will drop but if he doesn't he's likely making a bad call anyway. In a bigger pot I might raise.

Strange. I'd probably tell myself "he just has an ace" and call.

Anyway, I'd imagine that in some way or another that turn card probably helped him. Hopefully it didn't give him two pair or a straight (I'd at least halfway expect a checkraise from a straight, though.) What I kind of suspect is a weak made hand that just picked up a draw to go with a pair.

Disclaimer: I've never actually played the 2/4, and it's possible the turn donkbet shows more strength than I think.

if SB is that bad he can have anything 63, 76, 52, 92 - you don't know
he may figure you have an over card because you bet a trash flop and he just made a pair with A2 (a favorite donk hand - especially suited) or he just made 42

At this point you are WA / WB call see what the river brings

I dont think you can fold this. Call and probably call any river that doesnt suck for you.

It's hard to know what cards beat you if you're best on the turn.

But, yeah, once you call the turn, you should call most rivers. For me, that would include spades (an otherwise blankish-looking spade wouldn't bother me that much). And also probably an A or 6 as well .

The thing is, though, I'm used to 5/10 and have little respect for donkbets. I also can't put SB on a hand with any confidence. He could just have a strangely played Q8 or something. And a 6 doesn't kill your hand versus A5, and an ace doesn't kill your hand versus 65.

Anyway, though, you have mentioned some good cards to cheer against.

If the third guy hangs around and wakes up on the turn or river, then you should probably fold (especially on the river, since you can no longer improve and he'd be raising in a protected pot).
