Default turn play..... x2

live $100,000-$200,000 (minus three zero's)

quintessential mid twenties grinder limps in EP

i raise button with black jacks

blinds fold, quintessential three bets, i call (how close?)

flop

2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

bet, i raise, call

turn
10x rb

bet, i raise, he three bets, i <sigh> and call because i've not been to showdown with him yet and am getting there with this hand.

river

J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

he bets, i raise, he three bets, i 4 bet (no cap) he calls the 4 bet.

standard turn action?

an orbit later....

i limp UTG+1 Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

MP raises

Button calls

blinds fold

I put out two more bets and the dealer doesn't announce it and long story short everyone now knows i was going to three bet but i don't get to.

flop is a seven high rainbow

i bet, call, call

turn

A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

what line is worst, what line is best?

MP is decent, button sucks.

Wow you got pwned first hand. Giant spew.

I dislike your flop raise, hate your turn raise, and don't much like calling down the 3-bet.

hand one is poor IMO... what do we think a grinder @ the 1/2 (if there is such a term 4 these levels) is limp/rr w/, and then bet/calling the flop and betting the turn again w/.... best case scenario 4 u on the turn is that u just got 2 outed and have 2 outs going 2 the river... worst case is that u were already behind and had 2 outs going 2 the river.... just calldown on that turn

hand 2, why r we limping QQ utg, what's wrong w/ an open raise.... as played, I might c/r it, might bet/3 bet, depends on ur image.... I doubt I'm gonna bet/fold... I would not limp it utg though

Did you not even consider a fold? The pot is almost 6BB before the turn, so calling down (minimum money to showdown) gives pot odds ~4:1. Do you really think you are good here that often? If he does lrr with non-monster hands, then I guess the calldown is reasonable, but in that case the flop raise is pointless.
The turn raise/call is serious spew.
