where are the best games in A.C.??
Hey, about to go to A.C. for the first time. I was wondering what card rooms have generally the weaker players? Im a low limit player, my game is NL so Im probably going to be looking for something like $1-$2 NL or $3/$6 limit games. Im confident in my game, consistent winner at these games over at Turning Stone, but since Im unfamiliar with A.C. I figured some of you guys could help me out. I'm thinking Borgata, but I only want to go to the weakest room I can find. Thanks

Re: where are the best games in A.C.??
For 1/2 and 3/6, there is seriously no major difference. They will all be good, especially on a weekend or at night. Only Taj, Borgata, and Caesars spreads 3/6. Other wise it is all 2/4 and then 4/8.

Re: where are the best games in A.C.??
When I was in AC 1/2 NL was being played at
Taj Trop Borg House of Blues Ceasers and it was beng played anywhere else there is a poker room because it seems to be the most popular low limit game to play these days. I think the play is pretty much the same but IMO the best chance to play with new players is Ceasers which usually has a few games going and its right off the Casino floor so anybody could sit down or House of Blues which is a pretty mellow card room that plays all low limit below 5/10 when I was there. |

Re: where are the best games in A.C.??
I go to school near TS and play there all the time. I live near AC in the summer and play there. AC games are MUCH easier and it is not close. I have played 1-2, 2-5, 5-5 (NL) at TS and 1-2 and 5-5 (NL) at taj and borg for reference.

Honestly,
Harrah's is the place to go for 1/2, 2/5, and 2/4 and 3/6 The 3/6 game last night was supper juicy. 7 players into the flop. Alot of limpers and cold callers. Exit 1 off the AC expressway, right next to Borgata. |

I played 1/2 at the Trop this past weekend and it was pretty weak. I posted a trip report in the SSNL forum:

Re: where are the best games in A.C.??
You can piece together who spreads what: http://poker.wikia.com/wiki/Atlantic_City
I'm not aware of significant distinctions between the low-stakes games at different rooms -- "tremendously juicy", "spectacularly succulent", "wildly lush", "insanely loose", "delightfully ambrosial", etc. But it does seem this question gets asked about 3 times a week and every time I see it I'm going to direct people to the wiki page. So if anyone has strong opinions they're free to put them in that article. |

Re: where are the best games in A.C.??
If you are going to play 2-4 or 3-6 LHE, play in the room you find most comfortable and that gives you the best comps. Those games are always equally bad. |

Borgata! I don't know if they're the best games, but they're pretty soft, and with the new poker room the nicest thing is that there are so many of them.
Other games might be softer, but I can't see them being much softer. |

Re: where are the best games in A.C.??
If you are gonna play 1 2 I think basically anywhere but Borgata. If you wanna play NL at Borgata gotta play 2 5. I know a lot of people say there is no difference but I really think Borgata is a much tougher 1 2 game than the others in AC.
