Default 50 NL Full Ring: Pocket Eights Help!

I'm sure I did something wrong here cuz playing this passive seems bad. CO was very tight like 10/4 and MP2 was very loose like 40/10.

Yea that isn't very good. I would be betting $10 on this flop and folding to a raise. As played, I am raising to $13-14 on turn.

I think my thinking on the flop was that the CO was super tight so it was likely that he had an overpair. I was mainly intending on calling preflop for set value. So when I didn't get my set, I was just gonna c/f.

I guess it would have made more sense for me to raise the turn though.

I bet more like $8 on the flop, and fold to a raise. If they actually bet a decent amt on the turn or river, I am FOLDING

Given your read on the two villains, you should have raised preflop to isolate MP2.

CO raised on overs, called the turn with good odds and 6 outs, and folded river when he missed. You likely could have folded out a pretty big chunk of his range preflop with a good raise, then bashed MP2 on the flop.

As played, given your reads, I'd bet the flop hoping CO is on overs, and be done with it after that.

I think turn and river calldown are OK; hard to tell where you stand at that point, but you're getting nice odds.

I like this line. COs flop check is AK all the time given his stats MP2 is not very strong A high, 65 or some random PP makes sense.
On the river the board gets ultra ugly and I would say Call/Fold is neutral.

This pot can probably be won with a turn raise but 88 has showdown value here and I dont find calling stupid.
