I tried to watch it once. But there's only so much room in my pantheon of Tivo viewing, and it didn't really grab me. Sell me on it.

Great show. I loved last week's episode where one of the characters went to an anti-abortion rally to pick up women. The woman he ended up with was super hot and super nuts.

Another good one was about a month ago where their friend's dying father asked for them to retrieve his WWII uniform from storage because he wanted to be buried in it. They went to get it for him and it turned out to be a Nazi SS uniform.

Good times.

I love this show. More importantly, it's part of a trend that could be really excellent for the quality of TV in general:

The show started on FX. It was developed and run on cable. It worked, people liked it and it got OK ratings (for cable). So they are giving it a shot on a network. What a brilliant way to skip the ridiculous pilot season system! If there was a true "farm team league" for TV shows, this would allow quirky and intelligent shows to find an audience among discerning viewers before risking expensive ad dollars on primetime. We could end up with a surfiet of good TV, like we did in the early 90s when networks realized they had to compete with cable. Cross your fingers.

Did anyone see last nights episode?

The brother and sister quit their jobs at the bar and tried to get on welfare by becoming crackheads, it was hilarious.

Saw the Nazi uniform episode, I thought it was funny and I like the style in which this show if filmed.

Is this show still in it's first season? how long has it been running?

i'm pretty sure Fox is just trying to use the summer to give one of their FX shows some exposure. i don't think there's any plan to graduate it to the network schedule.
