Default CD Poker Warning

CD Poker did the following:

After I made my $500 deposit to get a $500 matching bonus, they increase the number of CD points I need to clear the bonus. It went from:

500 CD Points = $10.00 increased to 600 CD Points = $10

Next they change how they calculate MGR without informing me and the only way I found out is because I closely monitor hands played and rake taken. I was playing with them for 5 weeks before they finally admitted what they did.
see the email below:

Hi Eugene,

CD Poker originally stated that each player (even if he folds preflop) is considered to have generated rake. They have now recently indicated that the rake is calculated in the same fashion that it is calculated on Eurobet, BetOnBet and Fortune Poker:

Every player is credited rake from each pot according to how much he/she has put into the pot. For example, a pot’s size is $40 and the rake taken is $2. A player who contributed 10% of the pot (which in this case would be $4) would be considered as having generated 10% of the rake ($0.20).
If a player has not contributed any stake into the pot he would not receive any credit for the rake generated from that pot.

We have updated our site to reflect this change, and apologize for this miscommunication and confusion.

Sincerely,

The RakeBreak Team

Interesting, so CD Poker uses contributed now? I'm guessing that means all the iPokers have changed? It would be very unusual that one skin would use a different formula then the others.

The question is will they tell all of their players. When they make a change this major an email should be sent out to all players. Guest they will find out the hard way like I did.
