Default Three barrels

6 handed online.

I open J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Qx UTG, UTG+1 (28/22/1.7/33 WtSD 3-bets for about the 10th time in 100 hands), BB calls, I call.

Flop is A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. BB checks, I check, UTG+1 bets, BB folds, I checkraise, UTG+1 calls.

Turn is a blank. I bet, he calls.

River is another Ace. I bet...

You might get him to fold one of the 4 KxQ[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] combos. Other than that, the third barrel sucks. I wouldn't really expect any good to come out of leading the turn either, but it's not like it can really cost you money.

Bryce, do you think a hand like 7d7x folds to a river bet? If the answer to this question is yes, then I really like a river bet here.

If thats the case then I think check/folding the river is the best move.

That's a pretty heroic calldown.

Were you planning to fold to a turn raise?

Once he fails to raise turn, I think he has either a single diamond bigger than yours that will fold the river UI, or a PP that is planning to call you down. There may be an X% chance that he is planning to call turn, fold river to 3rd barrell with a PP too, but the river ace hurts your cause, and I don't know if the value of X is high enough.

I think you could do a combo analysis over his range to find out if your line is +EV or not, or what value of X is needed to make it so.
