How much Party points + VIP equal as RB?
Surely asked before, but I started to wonder how much Party Pokers promotions + party points + VIP promos equals roughly as rakeback? In another thread someone mentioned that PokerStars Supernova status equals ~45% RB if one plays NL400-NL600.
Of course this differs from your status, so different percentages for blue silver and gold. Also we can assume that one uses full deposit bonuses monthly and raked days + happy hour play. No referrals or other rare stuff. Main game would be PLO cash $100-$400 buy-in levels and holdem and omaha MTT:s buy-ins $20-$40. One plays so much that he reaches VIP level (This was $1000+ MGR, right?) Any adviced guesses? |

Re: How much Party points + VIP equal as RB?
Supernova is not worth 45% RB. The most FPP you can get from a hand are 7 if the pot reaches $3 in rake. At a value of roughly 1.6 cents each that means 11.2 cents if every hand is raked $3.
Full ring: $3/10 = .30 11.2/30 = 37% 6 max: $3/6 = .50 11.2/50 = 22% This is best case scenario. I'd imagine the numbers are much lower and you have to get 100k FPP to get the max benefit. |

OK and because Party Points are not as worthy(?) as Poker Stars FPP:s, we can assume that Party Points equal about 30% rakeback at best when you are in the gold level there and VIP-promotions usually equal 8x-15x raked bonus - Am I way off here?

Also, when comparing different rake-counting methods (like % of MGR vs a point-cashback system) I like to convert it to value of benefit/my actual rake paid. So 30% of MGR on party becomes 40% rakeback for me. Similarly 11.2c per $3/raked hand is over 50% for me. |
