Default Want to play a second game. What should it be?

This post might be in the wrong forum, but I couldn't find any forum that seemed more appropriate so I put it here. Please move this if there is a better place for it.

I play mostly NLHE Sit and Goes. They are good, but I would like something to play as a secondary game, for variety/mental stimulation. Preferably, it would be

1) Not too difficult to learn
2) Low variance.

What would be appropriate?

Omaha/8 should offer lower variance, and I didn't find it particularly difficult to learn. I'd guess Stud/8 would offer lower variance, but I've had a hard time picking that one up.

The variance in regular stud is pretty big, and I think stud/8 has the reputation for being a pretty wild ride as well. I would recommend Omaha 8 as well for being fairly low variance and easy to beat the low levels.

I would vote for omaha 8 and second the recommendation for 08poker.com

The split pot thing is a nice additional level of thinking and it's not that hard to learn enough to hold your own at small limits.

It's not that common a game though. They've got micros in it at Stars at least.

I think you're right. I've read Ray Zee's book, you think I'd remember what he says about it.
