Default problem moving my database - file too big for cd

the cd im trying to burn my pokertracker database on to contains 702 MB of space, while my file ptrack from c, program files, pokertracker is 1.65 GB. i do not see a way to split this and do it in sections. i tried to email this file to myself, but i received an error. i am assuming that this is because the file was too big to attach. any hints or suggestions? can i buy cd's with more writeable space than the ones i purchased? i got to this point by following the instructions at http://www.pokertracker.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17. thanks for all help. bobby

use either winrar or winzip and compress it. They have options so you can split the rar/zip file into different sizes. Then put those on cd. You could also buy a dvd burner and some blank dvd's

how do i compress using winzip. winzip is completely foreign to me, other than using it to set up my pokermods.

can i just right click on ptrack file and choose one of the options that pops up (such as add to zip files, configue, add to ptrack.zip, etc)?

wwwwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yyyyyy.

thanks. bobby

click add to winzip - it should process or do something. If you can't see something like ptrack.zip or something, do a system search for '*.zip' - see if that turns up something like 'ptrack.zip'

Default Putting files back together again.

Keep in mind that WinZip can also break a file into lots of little zips, which all the king's men (and, to some extent, all the king's horses) can then reassemble.

WinRar does this too.
