Spewing, its not just for LAGS anymore!
Just an overall bad hand for me, not sure what I was thinking. PF raiser is a fairly strong player, probably not super tight or TAGgish but not weak. Is call with J9s in small blind questionable or standard? Not sure where I got the "3-bet flop with draw and then bet turn with nothing" against a good player from, maybe against a LAG shorthanded. In any case, how should I have played it? Fold preflop (seems weak to me)? C/r flop and go for free card, c/c flop and reevaluate turn? Thanks for the help.

Re: Spewing, its not just for LAGS anymore!
The PF call is fine in this situation.
[ QUOTE ] In any case, how should I have played it? Fold preflop (seems weak to me)? C/r flop and go for free card, c/c flop and reevaluate turn? Thanks for the help. [/ QUOTE ] I would check/call the flop since MP2 will almost never fold this flop since he raised PF unless he has 88 or 99. He is atleast peeling, most likely raising, and there is also another player in the pot. Haupt_234 |

Re: Spewing, its not just for LAGS anymore!
If you really want to spew this, C/C the flop, then C/R the turn if it's HU.
By the way, I fold this PF, but I'm uber-tight and a pussy. At least PF. I'm crazy after that. Had it been me, I would have bet/called the flop, the C/R the turn, as it is my standard "I have a monster line" against an aggressive guy postflop who will slow down if I 3-bet the flop. Yes, this is probably wrong, but this is how I play. Tell me how to stop being such a LAG postflop, and I will. |
