Right line with 1010 or show it down?
Sorry convertor is down. Villian is somewhat LAGgy but seemed logical at this point. Later I saw him get away with a ridiculous bluff but that's probably because the other players were plain bad. At this point, I know he liked to take shots at the pot but didn't seem too crazy. I know I played this improperly but how should I have done it? Other preflop caller was non-factor, just an illogical, poor player.

C/r the flop, lead the turn. I'm calling down a 3 bet on the flop and probably folding if he calls our flop raise and raises the turn.

Re: Right line with 1010 or show it down?
this is a horrible bet/fold. You realize this guy could have 66 right?
since you didn't bet the flop, just check call every street. You don't need to get fancy and make him fold on the turn. Because he won't If you bet this turn, he calls with overs, and raises with any pair. If you fold this hand to anyone with laggy tendencies, you will get run over in 6 max. Fold = Not good. |

Usually I would bet out or raise this flop against a LAGgy player, no clue where I got this c/c flop and bet out turn mentality. I think I had a "feeling" I was beat...must be my current downswing affecting my play. |

Re: Right line with 1010 or show it down?
Even in full ring I don't think I'd find a fold anywhere against this guy. This is actually a really good flop for your hand. I also find that donk/folding the turn is a really bad idea against a laggy player, especially heads-up - the lag thinks to himself "what? he bet into me? That 7 didn't help him, I'll raise his ass!"
On the other hand, donking the turn is a great way to get laggy players to spew chips at you. I'd love this hand if you donked with the intention of 3-betting or calling down his raise (or the super-sweet double-donk). |

Re: Right line with 1010 or show it down?
I would check/call the flop and look to c/r any decent turn card, if he is laggy enough to keep firing (aka he doesn't check many turns through).
