What do hands 1 and 2 have anything to do with anything? Hand 3, check. 25NL, firing two barrels rarely works.

Hand 1: Fold pf
Hand 2: Standard
Hand 3: Given your read that he's tight, I'd check turn/cf any non A/K river. If an A or K falls and he bets call but don't raise

Hands 1 and 2 seem to have little to do with this hand. Are you saying he might just be calling since you keep raising? This is a bad table IMO, and this is an easy check-behind since you have a chance to catch, and he might bluff into you if you manage to hit randomly.

I had more written originally, but I guess I must have hit the wrong button on the posting screen. Anyway, the gist of it was that I have been raising quite a bit, winning the blinds and when I finally get called I get into a sticky situation where I don't know what to do and I usually end up losing more in one hand than I won in the previous 3 hands where I won the blinds. (that was the why I suck at NL part ). This series of hands was illustrative of that problem that I seem to be having.

That's just how it is. Don't let it stop you.

Edit: Might want to try 6-max if you're gonna play like this.
