Default All in, should the hands be shown?

Prima made an update today that removed the feature to show players hole cards when 1 or more players are all in.

Do you prefer the cards not to be shown? I know I prefer seeing the cards anyway. I want to show this poll to Prima so please vote

Any arguments for or against showing?

In live play, you (usually) aren't required to show your cards if you call an all-in in a cash game. I don't like to give up any more information than necessary so I prefer to not show them online as well. Obviously, a person can just check the hand history online but its still a little bit of extra effort they have to make to see how I play.

I like how some sites (UB for sure, not positive of others) won't allow observers to see cards mucked at showdown at all.

Any player good enough to utilize the information (of knowing your hole cards) will know that the HH's will show the hole cards. As for observers seeing what your cards are, that is a different story. I suppose a player could gain an advantage.

But almost every player i speak to prefers to show and some even play at sites that show like Full Tilt (one of my favorite sites).

Cards shouldn't be shown, but I would prefer that they were. A card site that makes up their own rules for cash games is going out on a limp a little bit, eh?

the reason cards should not be shown is because it is potentially embaressing to fish.

Actually, they are not in the Hand History on Prima either. Either that or I am inept at finding them. I checked in PT and requested hand histories when I couldn't see the hole cards yesterday.

My assumption is that if you can't see the hole cards on all-ins then it will encourage even more loose all-in bets, which is what the casino wants, while making it harder to determine who is FOS.

I think showing the cards encourages all-ins. Most of the players i know would rather be all-in if they know what they need as opposed to going all in and seeing the turn and river not knowing if it helps or hurts you.

I hate going all in with QQ then when a K or A hits on the flop wondering if that helped the opponent. Then at my site there's a good 3 second pause after the river, then they shove to the pot to whoever won.
