London, England Poker
Going to be in London, England for a day and a half, and was thinking about playing some poker. Any suggestions on where to play? I'd be interested in finding a small buy-in PL Omaha Hi game, say 1-2 blinds. Also, I read something about casino memberships being required? Does it cost, and can I get one on the spot? Thanks in advance.

Re: London, England Poker
www.casinocity.com (global directory) I'm sure has some web links to the card room/casino websites that might have some of the membership information for you.

You can get membership on the spot.
Run a search for London casinos, this topic has been discussed a few times recently. I would hasten a guess that only the Vicotria card room spreads omaha. |

They sometimes have Omaha cash games at the Gutshot card room, mostly on wednesday and thursday nights I think.
Check their website www.gutshot.com for more info. |

Yes, you can get membership on the spot, but you have to wait 24 hours before you can play

London B&Ms
Never been to any of them myself, but Vic is oldest/most established, Gutshot is best known new-ish and Western I hear nice things about. Law's changed now I think, so you don't need 24 hours notice for joining (and that only applied to those classed as Casinos anyway - i.e. the Vic). Contact the individual establishments to find out the proper score, what's spread etc. I think you'll find NLHE tournies most popular, followed by NLHE cash and PLO cash. Enjoy, RH |

try the western, the vic, or the gutshot. Not sure what nights they have cash games going but you can find all their contact info at www.pokerineurope.com.
