As played, c/c now. Maybe push, meh.
You should have led, to induce a raise, so lead smallishly, maybe get a call, then a raise, then push. WaaaLaaah. |

You should have led, to induce a raise, so lead smallishly, maybe get a call, then a raise, then push. WaaaLaaah. [/ QUOTE ] Interesting, but I seem to remember somebody commenting about relative position, and suggesting that with good relative position on the likely bettor one should check, intending to check-raise. Since BB raised preflop and will likely face a field of four with a bet, it seems to me that a CRAI is a good play here. This traps the dead money from BB and all the callers, faces BB with a horribly nasty decision about calling, and subjects the other flop callers to a nice domino effect of sandwiches against later players. At least, that would be my intention on seeing the flop. As played, BB didn't bet and nobody called the pot-sized bet from UTG; however, a CRAI still looks tasty: - You've got great folding equity with this huge overbet. - You've got 20 BBs in the pot already, which is nice dead money if BB and UTG fold. - You've got a likely 12 outs to a winner if called, and you're risking $194 to win $214 even if you're called. - Your push could easily fold the hands you really fear the most (stronger flush or straight draws), while getting called by hands that leave you lots of outs. cbloom and aj like to push preflop. Me? I like to push flops. |

I like to poosh everywhere.
Given that BB is one of those geniuses who minraised preflop, from the blinds, a field of limpers, I don't really give any consideration to my relative position to him. But, you make a good point. |

Re: (200 max) How to play this big draw?
yeah, reletive position doesnt matter this hand due to it only being a minriase and there being too many ppl in the pot.
Lead flop As played, C/R AI |

Re: (200 max) How to play this big draw?
Would you ever C/R all-in here with anything other than a combo draw? Didn't think so. Make a PSR to 100ish and get the rest in on any turn. I think a PSR has more FE than push, FWIW, since a push is very transparent.
