Bubba KEG 52oz

Ok, so I just bought a 52oz Bubba KEG for $8 at Walmart for the hell of it. I oddly enough decided to read the directions that came on a small sheet of loose paper in the bottom of the mug (who knew they had them for a mug??).

The instructions go on to say that you can align the lid to your liking (aka left handed and right handed drinkers). I tried follwing their 2-step directions but for the life of me don't understand. I have screwed on the lid till it's tight - where the hell can I adjust anything?

Screw on once, remember where you started/where it finished. Unscrew adjust correctly, rescrew.
