2/5 live, semi-deep, rivered boat
2/5 live. Table views me as TAG/rock, and has even joked about it out loud. Doubled through villian in this hand a few orbits ago. I over raised his turn bet when my flush draw/open ended straight draw got there, for a flush over flush. Villian is a total LAGtard, and has built his stack back up to 900 or so with some ridiculous holdings when this hand comes up. I've got about 1200 to start and cover the table.
8-handed: 2/5 NL Hero is the button, dealt 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Pre flop: 4 limpers to me, I limp, SB folds, BB raises to 20(doesn't mean much in this game) all call. Pot ~ 120 Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]: Checked around Turn: T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]: Checked around River 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]: BB checks, 2 EP players check to villian in the Hijack who bets 100, CO folds, Hero ?? Wasn't to sure what line to take here. Villian's bet could be anything. Likely a naked A, but A8 and AT are definitely not only in his preflop range, but most likely in anyone else's still in the hand. I likely have him beat, but I'm not sure wether or not I have the entire table beat. If I make a raise to 300, I'm not sure what I'd do if someone left to act then pushed. I'd likely have to call given the remaining players stack sizes, but I'd likely be beat. If I overbet the pot again, I'm not sure if villian would fall for it a second time. Could flat calling be correct here? Would it be giving up to much value given the likely but not guarenteed scenario that I'm ahead here? |

Re: 2/5 live, semi-deep, rivered boat
If you make you make it 300 on the river, and someone pushes over the top I don't mind calling. Are they really slowplaying the full house until the absolutely last moment ?? I think trip aces at best is their most likely holding.
