Unless the button's a moron this isn't a semibluff from a naked A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. This is some mixture of a flush, 99/77, Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]x or, my most likely guess, K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q or A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q. I think we can almost just fold this outright but in a real game of course I call it down like a monkey anyways.

I would call it down, but I've been playing a lot of 6-max lately, which is an influence.

He could have a worse pocket pair that contains a spade, though, right? And you, after all, could just have AK.

Anyway, it seems like there's a decent chance you have the best hand and the best draw. And even if you don't, your flush draw could still be good.

I like a bet/fold on the turn.
