10 key hands in 30-60 game HELP

I dropped a quick $900 in my first mid-high stakes game in 39 hands. My opponent wasnt over aggro, but did semi-bluff. I found he went to far with his hands sometimes. I think he was pretty abc most of the time. Wish I could give you more of a read, but it was only 39 hands. Here are the most important hands in the order that they occured. Results in white.

This one's tough because of Villain's auto-continuation bet on the flop. When he slows down on the Turn, his action is thus harder to read here. Often - in a pot that's NOT raised pf - when a standard Villain donks the flop, then checks the Turn on a scare card, he's got a made hand that he wants to take to showdown without the fear of getting raised on the Turn.

With this hand in particular, your read on Villain will come in handy: does he always auto-bet the flop after taking the initiative pf? If so, how often have you been calling the flop? If you've been calling his flop bet often in this spot, what's he been doing on the Turn? etc.

The analysis in the above paragraph is obvious, but just wanted to spell out my thinking. Anyways, my point here is that in an UNRAISED pot, when a standard Villain donks the flop OOP, then checks the Turn on a scare card, he often has a hand. It is up to you to adjust this knowledge to the specific game situation you're in.

Hope this is useful. By no means am I a HU expert. The above analysis is based what I've seen in HU so far and could easily be wrong. My hunch is that it's generally correct. Agree or disagree?

If I dont pick up a gutshot here, I would check..But I thought I might be able to pickup the pot with a semi-bluff.
I still like my 3 outs to a Q during the hand and somewhat my outs to an 8.

I still think you take the free card here. This board hits a ton of hands. However, the clincher for me is Hand 20. Same pre-flop scenario, but Villain check-folds the flop. He looks VERY abc in this situation.

Here are my comments. I mostly play NL S&Gs, but the general idea is the same.

First, it is better to list all hands, that way one can see the flow of the game. It is not like full ring games, and the hands are not independent. There is more of a dependent nature on each hand to the next since it is heads-up. Anyway my comments (opinions)...

hand 2: check flop then bet turn.
hand 5: no. played fine.
hand 9: I do not like the reraise preflop. That way you can check-call then check-fold OR check-fold the flop due to the smaller pot size.
hand 15: I like a check raise bluff here. The board is perfect. If he calls lead the turn then give up if called.
hand 20: standard.
hand 25: check or check-fold turn.
hand 28: standard.
hand 31: no. ok.
hand 38: play as advised in hand 2.
final hand: ok.

j/k. As for advice, c/f'ing the flop in the A3 hand is way too weak in my opinion. I at least see the turn and usually just c/c there.

Also, you should fold the flop in the Q8o hand.

I definitely wouldn't have bet/folded your AK on the turn. I definitely wouldn't have check/folded your A3 on the Q99 flop.

A3 I didnt mention c/f as that is obviously the only other alternative, it was basically implied if u keep playing then c/r. Paired boards are always intresting regardless.
