What's my play here? Road Rage trip report

The road to my house has four lanes for about 100 yards. I am in the left lane that the right one merges into and a car is fast approaching in the turning lane (this lane is meant for people to be able to turn into a shopping center and not for passing)

This car is trying to pass me, and the road is narrowing. . . what do I do?

Yeah, that was what I would have voted for, had it been one of the options. I guess this course of action never occurred to the OP.

Ease off the gas, let your car coast while the jackass passes and go home.

Slowing down was not an option with the amount of driving space provided, I would've had to come to a complete stop at 50 MPH in moving traffic.

I think the real question is: What sort of issues do you have to let some jackass rile you up so much that you gotta CHASE HIM, while laying on your horn?

I drive an 2006 Evolution and i get ricers trying to do flybys all the time.

I drop it in 3rd and wait for him to get right at my rea/middle and floor it. there now cars behind me

I turn on my hazards and continue to drive into the sunset.


But anyways i'm a pretty fast driver and i hate it when people go in front of my lane and start driving slow. Sometimes if they really piss me off i'll switch lanes go in their lane and drive even slower.

Another thing i do sometiems on my commute to work if i notice someone else driving in the HOV lane with only one passenger ill start driving slow infront of them they'll switch lanes to try to pass me then i step on it.

Makes the commute more entertaining.
