Low Limit Pot Limit Omaha/8 Books?
When I have a particular nasty downswing, I often play another form of poker for a change of pace. This last week, I reread the Omaha/8 section of Ray Zee's High-Low Split Poker and started playing 25 and 50 pot limit Omaha/8. Somewhat to my surprise, I am enjoying the game a lot more than I expected... ironic, considering I hated playing limit Omaha/8 when I tried it years ago.
Ray Zee's book is excellent obviously, but it doesn't have much on pot limit. Is MvEvoy and Cloutier's Championship Omaha the way to go? Are there any better options? Senni |

Championship does not even mention PLO8b.
There is very little written on the game because it is (almost) never spread live. |

Re: Low Limit Pot Limit Omaha/8 Books?
unfortunately, there is very little about the game out there
Your best bet is to pick out a few posters in the omaha/8 forum that really know the game and follow their posts. |

nothing really, though a lot in zee's book applies if you just play tighter. read the o/8 forum.

There are some websites that discuss basic strategy in Low Limit Omaha:
Here's a pretty good site: http://www.lowlimitomaha.com/ and here's a system for determining if your starting hands are okay: http://ehutchison.homestead.com/omahasystem.html |
