Default TPNK is very small pot.

First hand of the session. I have TPNK and was bet into in a very small pot. Was this one worth raising and fighting for considering I might already be beat?

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

So.... villain donks a 3-handed flop and you think top pair is no good?

You can make an argument for anything but folding.

I thought it was more likely I was ahead than not, but with two players it was probably 20% or so that someone else had the Q and a better kicker. Plus I figure there's an overcard, potential 5 outer from the donk better with a pair. It seemed like a large investment to go all the way for a $3 pot.

I'm not just playing this hand for the $3 in the pot right now. I'm playing for the $3 in the pot now plus the $3 or $5 he'll put in on later streets with a probable worse hand.

Because anything you beat is now positive it's no good.

I'm usually raising this, as I don't really see any reason to think we're not ahead.

But if you don't raise this flop I think you have to fold.

Calling will make you completely lost on the turn almost regardless of what card hits.
