Caffeine gum, mints, soap
Has anyone ever tried any of these caffeine alternatives? Computer geek sites like www.thinkgeek.com sell a variety of mints, gum, candy, and even soap. Yea, soap. Supposedly you absorb the caffeine through your pores. Sounds interesting at least. Anyone ever try it?
I'm not some kind of caffeine junkie, but like most people, I could use an extra kick in the morning. I don't like Red Bull and coffee upsets my stomach. I've heard that the caffeine mints taste terrible, but maybe there is a brand that isn't that bad? How do you get your caffeine fix? |

Re: Caffeine gum, mints, soap
Take caffeine pills? Coffee is so good though, just fight through the grumpy stomach. They had caffeinated water for a while, that sounds better than soap.

I use Xanadrine NRG, which is just a fancy brand of time-released caffeine, very good stuff.

Why do computer geeks need to take so much caffeine? WTF do they need so much energy for? Beating off 20 times a day?

Re: Caffeine gum, mints, soap
I gave up caffeine a month ago. I periodically quit it. Otherwise I spend all day/night in front of a computer, drinking a cup of tea an hour (at least I stopped drinking coffee) and get seriously messed-up as result. You know, chewing my mouth, etc.

Re: Caffeine gum, mints, soap
I got a bar of the soap free with an order a couple of years ago.
It had a great peppermint smell to it. But I didn't notice any effect from the caffeine. |
