Caregiver gets $2.5M
My grandma is currently 93, but she still lives in my parents house. A caregiver lives in at my parents house during the week and helps her out. She used to work full-time at an old folks home and still works there on the weekend. One of our caretaker's good friends takes care of a rich old man at one of the homes.
The rich old man is getting really sick and is about to die. He asked his caregiver (our caregiver's friend and roommate) to take him to Atlanta and see his brother for something urgent before he died. She said she had to work and couldn't afford to take him in which he replied, "You don't have to work for a while." After they returned from Atlanta, she got a check for $500,000. She came over and is freaked out and doesn't know what to do. She confirmed everything and the old man's lawyer also told her she gets another $2M when he dies. She was shivering in line at the bank when going to cash the check. Talk about a best hand jackpot. |

Re: Caregiver gets $2.5M
isn't the point of being a caregiver to try and hit the jackpot with a lonely old dying guy? lololol

Re: Caregiver gets $2.5M
Awesome that she cashed the check. Don't spend it all in one place.

Am I the only one who thought 'caregiver' was the screen name of an online poker player?
