($55 ) AQ in MP against maniac
Villain (BB) has a bigstack. He has been playing very aggressive preflop without having very good hands. That said, he has been very lucky so far.
1. Any thought about my raise preflop? Maybe 250ish would have been better? 2. If I shove when he re-raises it's pretty much like calling an all-in, whick I don't like. Although, with the read on villain, maybe going AI is fine here? 3. If I fold I will only have ~14BB left. Any thoughts? He has been playing very aggressive preflop without having very good hands. [/ QUOTE ] So you want to fold? You may not want to call all-in, but you definitely gotta put it in here. |

Re: ($55 ) AQ in MP against maniac
id usually make it 250 here, 300 isnt a huge mistake or anything though
if this guy has been seen reraising any Ax and is a complete maniac and is habitually reraising PF, id shove. if you cant put him on a hand and you havent seen him doing a lot of 3 betting preflop (and hes just opening a lot pf or something but not reraising a lot) then id muck. with your read it seems to be a shove but again it all depends on hand ranges and what kind of "maniac" he is. |
