[censored] [censored]!! Carpet cleaning question
I guess I passed out last night and managed to spill about 6 ounces of a black and tan on my beige carpet.
I just noticed the spill so I guess it has been chilling for about 6 hours. The carpet has been scotch guarded, so I cleaned up as much of the spill as I could with blotting but there is still a brown outline. What should my next plan of attack be? I don't want to set the stain so it won't ever come out. Should I use cold water next? Then a carpet cleaner? Skip the water? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

If you plan on getting a carpet cleaner you should stop touching it asap.

If you really care about the rug getting clean, that's what I'd do. If you don't mind a brownish spot being there forever, then get some 409 or whatever. |

Re: [censored] [censored]!! Carpet cleaning question
kip,
If you want to do it yourself, the carpet cleaner machines at the grocery store (well, at least they had them at the grocery store when I was growing up) work pretty well. As a second option, Resolve is amazing, but I don't know if it can do anything after this much time. |
