\"Flu Like Symptoms\"
JD Drew was a late scratch from last night's game due to "flu-like symptoms." Is this code for "hangover?"

Re: \"Flu Like Symptoms\"
I've heard a lot of different things for "flu-like symptoms" over the year. The most prevalent ones are puking or diarrhhea. Remy speculated that Drew likely was sent home and wasn't in uniform last night.

Re: \"Flu Like Symptoms\"
Flu Like Symptons is code for sick. People get sick, for whatever reason when ballplayers get sick they always say the flu. They never tell us its strept throat, bronchitis, a bad cold or whatever else. I have no idea why they do this.
