Well I'm not either Zeebo or KKF, but with his holding I don't see the point for a raise here really, since mahatma won't be folding an 8 ever, and will never call with anything less (I hope). If we have any reason to believe he could have been bluffing on the flop with A5/56 or w/e, AND would make that river bet, AND would call a push, then we'd of course push, but I find that very much less likely than 55 here, or a (less likely) very strange QQ.

From Mahatma's point of view the expected value of the play is: -p*21,000 + (1-p)*7,200 where p is the probability he gets called. (Assuming he always loses when called -- which is pretty certain.) For the play to be +EV, p has to be less than 7,200/28,200 -- roughly 25%.

So, as long as he believes his opponent will fold 75% of the time, the play is +EV. Does 75% seem too unreasonable given what we might expect HammerG's range to be against Mahatma?

Note: edited to change 25% to 75% - had the right idea in my head, typed the wrong word in the post.

I think the only thing strange about playing QQ in that mannor would be the flop bet.
