Villain is one of those bad players who have a semi clue and are kinda nitty and whom you just grind out a profit over a long run.
I raise 97s from the HJ, 25/50. Villain calls BN FLop K64r, I c bet he calls Turn 5r I bet and he calls. River T Pot is 2500, 3300 behind. There is some chance he is trapping with a set, but most likely he has KQ/KJ/KT/maybe K9s so a bet is profitable (not expecting him to laydown top two obv). My q is v. this guy what is the right amount to bluff? |

he might fold the first couple of those pre, def if unsuited, 88 and 99 I think he lays on the turn. 77 is possible, good point.

I think this bet is very dependent on your own betting pattern /style though.

In general Im pretty nitty v this guy, he wouldnt have seen me overbet shove before, I tend to shut down after one barrel v this guy although noticing his nittiness I two barrelled him successfully a while back. I think if I shove he folds anything less than KT, but if I bet 1700 or so Im not sure what to expect this kind of player to look me up with.

Not really sure if you get that much extra FE from shoving rather than making it 2000, but it would suck to have him go, hmmm wonder why this guy isnīt putting it allin and then hero call.
What did you bet on the other streets, think it matters. |
