Need some Advice, Going away for 1 week
So I'm going away for a week to Walt Disney World On Thursday with my wife, daughter and Father in law and I need some advice on what to eat down there and how to eat it.
I did some research and you are allowed to bring water into the park so I am brining my whey protein. My biggest problem is going to be how do I eat every 2-3 hours? My wife is 5"1 and weighs about 100 punds, she has problems finishing a 6 OZ steak and she eats maybe 3 x a day. My father in law is a big guy but he eats like 2-3 big meals a day. Myself on the other hand, I starve if i do not eat every 2-3 hours. and in a typical day I will eat 7-8 "small meals" So what can I bring with me that I can munch on in the park so I don't have to pay some extravagant price for a sub, or hamburger patty every 2-3 hours. We are flying by plane and I'll have a small backpack to bring into the park with me, about the only thing I can think of is Protein bars as I can not cook or prepare anything ahead of time. As far as Protein bars go how is this one? Supreme Protein Bar: 360 Calories Calories from fat 144 Total Fat 16g Saturated fat 5g Trans Fat 0g Cholesteral 20mg Sodium 300 mg Total Carbs 34g Sugars 4G Sugar alchols 27g protein 30g I should also mention that You can't bring food into the PArk so I need somethin I can conceal in my pockets or in a small hard to find compartment in my backpack |

nuts-almonds, apricots, tangerine-lots of healthy pocket sized snacks.
In the latest CrossFit Journal a guy that maintained the Zone Diet on vacation climbing ate batches of nuts multiples times daily. |
