Default \"Two for the Money\" now on DVD!

I just heard a "Two for the Money now on DVD!" ad on ESPN Radio. It got a 20% rating at Rotten Tomatoes. No wonder it went pretty much straight to video.

Save your money...Get it only if you have a block buster pass and there are no other movies to rent.

I don't get the premise of their "business" at all... how would they confirm that people are betting the amount they claim to betting with their bookies, so they can get paid the correct amount when they win?

This movie is just bad. The interview with the "real" Brandon Link is pretty lame. This guy's whole story sounds like a bunch of BS.

Hated it.

Being a true sports bettor for years, this movie was an enormous let down. I guess I wanted to see true winners, but that would take grinding it out and that’s probably not too glamorous for Hollywood. In fact, the one guy that is a grinder in the movie gets fired by Pacino… so sad…#

Im no genius, but that was a horrible review from that link. The point of the movie, imo, was that the "corruption" in becomming John Anthony was what made him pick losers, not that his luck ran out. I think that changes the theme of hte movie a lot. It was a bad flick though.

that was the theme, but his methods were BS from the start. Noone can just look at the lines and know how the game was going to play. If it worked then, why couldn't he get it back?

Besides noone picks % of winners like he was...

It might have been a terrible review

Ya, the numbers were stupid, 85%, ridiculous. But the point was that he had vast amounts of knowledge about the intricacies of each game, so he could pick at a good clip. Whatvever the case, it was a boring movie. Although, Ive had guys go 11-0 on consecutive weekends then lose it all in a bad run, so maybe it was a little truer to life, but not for the right reason.
