Re: near bubble in the 6max 5r on ftp
If i wasn't too lazy now(because it's 5.27 AM here) i would wrote lots of numbers, calculations, math things. But shoving here is waaay better than calling.

Re: near bubble in the 6max 5r on ftp
Yes, this thing goes like this, you have an edge on table but big stack keep coming over top always and you keep folding. Then you'll become like M=8-9 and you'll have no choice other than open shoving and putting your tourney life on coin flip. There are still 60 players and it's too early to pass doubleup chances. And how many times you see this wonderful flop? If flop was ten high with 2 hearts i'd still shove here. At 10$ and big stack he'll do this move with Qx enough times to make your shove profitable. I don't think he has QQ here, you have one of the Jacks so JJ is less likely. The only hand you should be afraid of here is 33. Against a set, we still have %31 chance. But as i said you can't always think if he has 33. He has it only small percantage of time. With a flop like this i like 3betting and here's your raise. Double up and rape the table.
