Default Please recommend me a good tax person that knows gambling law...

I figure this is a better place to post than finance and investing despite this being a money issue. I need a CPA or tax attorney or whoever that knows all the ins and outs of the online gambling related tax laws. Please send PM or respond here, a phone number or website would be helpful -- I need a consultation (and am willing to pay for it, obviously) and later on someone to do my taxes for '06.

Thanks guys!

you wont find this person because tax laws in regards to gambling are extremely vague and not very well thought out , and certainly have not been updated to account for online gambling. basically your CPA will just make up rules that they think fit within the law.

I'm sure there are CPAs who are more familiar with offshore accounts, I guess I need one of those...

I've never used, or even contacted these folks, so I can't make a recommendation one way or the other, but I did bookmark their site when this came up some time ago.

For Taxes:

Russ Fox ( website )

I use Russ and he's very good/informative.

For Gambling Law:

Chuck Humphrey ( website)

I've spoken to Chuck and he's also highly recommended.

I saw this in the sticky and hope I'm not out of line posting a request in here, but I'm looking for a CPA for taxes in the Atlanta, GA area.

If California is more convenient, I'd recommend Russ Fox. If Las Vegas is better for you, I'd recommend Marissa Chien. Both are Enrolled Agents.
