there's a little control freak in all of us--who surprisingly looks a lot like bert from sesame street:



if you can't tell from the picture, being a control freak is generally not a good thing. however, it can be okay if, for example, somebody asks you to control them (assuming no leather is involved--unless that's your bag, then by all means...). within this thread just such an event is taking place (not the leather part). three options for how rothko should spend his april are provided below to you, the disturbingly-control-freakish 2p2 reader.

exercise your dark side by 1) voting on the creative endeavor you want rothko to pursue in lieu of sitting on street corners and cussing at passersby whose children obviously have better taste in footwear than he does 2) refining the final selection by determining its artistic direction and 3) putting your hand over your mouth and snickering as if to mock a tree that has obviously never been mocked before.

rothko will have one month to fulfill your commands. the ultimate result will 1) undoubtedly be anticlimactic inasmuch as something can be without ever having a climax 2) be posted in this thread to have its merits or lack thereof discussed in accordance with lounge law and 3) mark rothko's return to medication.

nb: in the interest of your short attention span, rothko's background info has been supplied in the next post, enabling you to make an informed vote whilst not being of the opinion that this post is too long.

[x]rothko was visiting his girlfriend for a month (they were doing the long-distance thing) and he had nothing to do other than borrow his gf's truck to go out with other girls while she was in class, play poker and lie about where he went during the day
[x]rothko wanted to try painting and offered to do the bonus work, even though it was clearly immoral and essentially cheating, zomg
[x]two days in the studio before deadline and uranus was completed
[x]girlfriend received 100% for the painting
[x]the teacher was so in love with the painting that he offered real mobnies for it
[x]rothko turned down the cash and later traded the painting for a kick-ass laptop

disclaimer: rothko no longer has that girlfriend, so it's okay that he was spending time with other girls; bonus point assignments of this nature are almost always given 100%; teacher obviously had poor taste in art; could've gotten laptop for nothing, but person liked the painting so fair trade and rothko sucks at painting.

disclaimer: rothko's parents divorced when he was seven and his poor little spirit was broken and he wimped out on the piano for the rest of his life; rothko lived too far away from superteacher to ever get any lessons from him; audience was amazed by rothko, because he followed more than an hour of intermediate players that sucked extremely hard; on his myspace music page, rothko only has one friend which came from another band that spammed him and rothko sucks at music.
