Does anyone here have any experience with this tourney? I'm thinking about signing up for the one this Friday, but I'm not sure if I'll be out to lunch there. I think I have the basics of the game down, I've won a couple of MTT SNG tournaments at Full Tilt, and I've been making a killing in the live 1/2 NL at Borgata (although 40 hours of play is obviously a next-to-meaningless sample). However, I realize that I'm no match for a real pro, and that tournament play is feast or famine even for the best of players. Do I have a realistic shot at making money there, or will I be just throwing my $280 away?

Unscheduled MTTs with a specified number of players. 2, 5, 10 tables, goes when it fills up. Like the Stars 180s, I assume.

There are lots of idiots playing in these Friday noon tourneys. Good starting stack, good structure, good chances of doing well.

First off, get there around 10am if you don't want to wait in line for 2 hours.
The tournament draws a mixed bag of players, ranging from people who don't know what beats what, to very solid, tricky players. It has been drawing about 400 players. I can't speak as to your skill level and chances of doing well, but it is a fun tournament to play. |

Thanks for all the replies. Is there any place where I can find the payout structure for this tournament?

ive been told they are accepting registration an hour earlier than they use to due to the long lines. if the lines continue to persist, they will start registration even earlier. |

I've been at Borgata once on Friday at 11:30 am. Believe me, I'll be there at 9 am sharp.
