Re: Tell me what audiobook to get
What kinda stuff you like?
I find horror is great for audiobooks and recommend trying some of the H.P. Lovecraft audiobooks, like The Horror at Red Hook. |

I seem to enjoy most popular stuff. Like not stuff meant to be best sellers, but original books that became best seller cause they're so awesome!! I liked harry potter and most of the books I read in high school were classics and I really enjoyed them. Most of it was in french tho so I can't really tell you. I read Pi in High School and I really liked it. And The Alchemist. Can't really think of any book that came from english right now. Thanks for the sugestion I'll look for it. |

Re: Tell me what audiobook to get
It's probably cheaper to join Audible.com and rent the book than buy it on Amazon. Depends on how much you re-listen to them and how often you need them. I'm paying 15 bucks a month for 1 book.
Any of the Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett are good listens. |

Re: Tell me what audiobook to get
Did you see the movie Master and Commander? There are some good long audiobooks done of the series of novels that came from which are very popular and well-regarded.
Also, if you haven't checked out audiobooks.com, it's a pretty cool downloadable audiobook site that has a three-month free subscription, a free book a month. It's worth looking at for user reviews of audiobooks even if you never join yourself. |

Re: Tell me what audiobook to get
If you could get any of George RR Martins "A Song of Ice & Fire" series you would be happy.
