Default Live $100 NL FR - how much should I bet to protect my hand here?

Been playing for several hours at Hollywood Park at the $100. I'm usually good for about $20/hr at these tables, but it's a pretty high variance game. I was stuck about $400 because of two bad beats I had taken from one guy, and the table knew I was playing solid but I had gotten unlucky.

I have $175, and the villian in the BB has $150. With blinds at $2/$3, I PFR to $13 with J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in EP and get called by a LP player and the BB.

Flop comes 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
the BB checks, and I bet $35 into a $41 pot. LP player folds and the BB makes a hesitant call. I think the BB has a weak 9 or maybe an OESD with the 7/8, but I'm certain that I'm ahead.

Pot size is $111 and the turn is 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

BB checks again, and I bet ???

If I think he's either got a weak 9 (for 5 outs) or an OESD with 8/7 (8 outs), how much should I bet to give him incorrect odds of calling? He's got about $100 left, but if I put him all-in, I'm not sure he'll call. If I bet $50, he's getting 3.2:1, which is not enough for top pair or the OESD. Anything more than this and I'm betting the correct amount, right?

Thoughts?

Any bet you make would be +EV for you if you are ahead. Based on your read bet the absolute maximum you think you can get a call from, however a shove doesn't look bad here at all. I think a push is the best play is to put villian allin, which is about a PSB. Anything else leaves an awkward river stack.

You should betting whatever he has left here, so basically about pot size.

i would just shove here

might induce a call from a big 9 and will probably get an OESD to fold

I bet $60, but in retrospect I think the PSB (basically a push) is the right move here. Given my table image (that I'm prone to being sucked out on), I don't the 9 calls a shove, but the OESD might.

Thanks for the advice,

The way you are thinking about the turn bet is great according to nlhtap, but you need to consider stack sizes and the river action as well. You're leaving yourself no room to make a decent river bet, so I would just push the turn. With a 9 he may pay you off less often but he also can't suck out when he folds, and the OESD has to pay what is really significantly more to draw
