Default Donked into by a donkey. what\'s my play?

yea yea this is 2/4 but these games play soft and I figured this hand was too basic to post in MSNL.

Anyways, my stats on villain aren't up yet, but I have him buddylisted and I have a note suggesting he is very loose preflop, and passive postflop as well. I think this donk is often a plea from a draw to see a cheap river, but I definitely can't rule out big hands, though they do seem unlikely to me. What's your plan here?

Blinds: $2/$4
4 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $413.70
Hero: $400.00
SB: $398.00
BB: $437.10

Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG folds, Hero raises to $16, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($48, 3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $35, SB calls, BB folds.

Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($118, 2 players)
SB bets $40, Hero ____________?

Call. I don't mind giving a cheap one vs. a draw because that is ofsetted by the times he has a big hand and we save money by not raising turn to charge the draws.

flat call the turn to slow him down, probably a blocking bet w/ draw anyway

Betting the flop here is okay. I don't think I have a standard as far as these types of spots, I really mix it up, which I guess is okay.

I call the turn here and look him up on a ton of non diamond rivers.

what are people's thoughts about raising turn smallish (for value vs draws) and making it the last $$ we put in the pot?

I think this is valid. I originally thought I liked a call behind here because is saves us money when we're behind, but then again, would this not be a decent spot for a min raise?

Think about it, if he has an A, he either 3bets us here or calls and possibly leads river or goes for a c/r that whiffs. If he doesn't it keeps him from putting us in a tough spot on the river either on the train to valuetown or having to make a hero call on a non-diamond river.

I think if there ever was a solid spot for a min-raise, this might be it.
