Default Quick Travel Qustion

I am a Canadian citizen and want to fly out of the united states as I only live 1 hour from the border.

Flights are a lot cheaper flying out of the states and less hassle with passports and what not.

I have flown a couple of times and it was just from one city to another in Canada.

My major question is if I buy tickets on the internet and they give me my E-Ticket to go up to the counter when I get to the airport (PWM Portland ME) will they give me a hard time or a piece of identification suffice.

First, if you're booking a round trip, you're out of luck. Canadians require a passport when flying into the US.

Second, I think you'll probably be ok flying out of the US without a passport but its probably something you should ask the airline. Just call them up, they'll know the answer.

SIGH...

I know we require a passport to enter the uniter states VIA PLANE. I am going to drive over the border to Portland ME. Get on a plane there and fly to BWI. Then on my way back from BWI I will fly back in to canada.

I know how the laws work I just want to know how big of a hassle will be getting on the plane in portland.

Canadians won't have a problem boarding a domestic flight within the US.

Thank you
