Posting Images Question

Hi Guys New to this site and i was wondering how do you post images to threads. I don't mean post links to get to images but how do i get an image to appear in my replies? Also when i preview my post, will the picture be displayed or just labeled? Thanks

The image will appear in your preview. This is what you would do if you wanted to post a screen-shot:

1) Do a screen capture (alt+print screen).
2) Paste into MS Paint and crop.
3) Save the file in png, gif, or jpg format in a folder where you can find it later.
4) Go to http://imageshack.us/ (or equivalent image hosting site) and upload the image.
5) After you click the "host it" button, the hosting site will give you a choice of urls that you can paste into the post editor on 2+2. I usually use the "direct link" and use the "Image" Instant UBB Code in the editor. Just highlight and cntrl+C to copy the url and then click the Image link in the editor. A small textbox pops up. Cntrl+V will paste the url into the textbox. Hit enter.
6) Preview your post-- the image should appear, but if you're like me, you did something wrong, so edit as necessary and preview again. When you get it to work, post.

You need to copy the location. then put [image] and then the image location and then [/image] and your picture will be seen to all!
